What is truly exceptional about Uncommon Thread is its inherent collaboration. It is that rare event that privileges each of the varied constituents participating. Artist, model, venue, and audience are equally elevated.

How could you pass up 360 degrees of theater, dance, fashion, visual art, music, and, this year, books? Join us for the 2015 Uncommon Thread Wearable Art Show: Epilogue on December 5, at 8 p.m. at the Main Library. Buy tickets now.

Note that tickets go fast. The performance-only ticket, if purchased online, is $20 for the general public and $15 for students (limit 100 for students). The "Prologue" Pre-Party tickets ($35) come with food, drink, and access to the terrace and greenroom where you can see the artwork up close and mingle with artists and the crew. Online ticket sales will close at 6 p.m. on 12/5/2015.  Tickets purchased at the door will be $5 more than the online price ($20 students; $25 general public; $40 Prologue).

Attending may or may not make you a cooler person, but it will definitely make you a happier one.*

Sometimes paying anything for events is a barrier to attendance and we want whoever wants to come to have the opportunity to attend. So if you're interested in volunteering the night of the show please contact us by November 20 so we can discuss volunteer options with you. Likewise, if you are interesting in modeling, this is a wonderful way to get to see the show from a totally different perspective, those interested should email a head shot and measurements (height, bust, waist, hip, shoe size) to our model and artist coordinator

*happiness not guaranteed but statistically highly likely, happiness may wear off with time.
